do roots chargers have horrible efficiency when spun slow?

the supercharger in question is the m112, if using running 5psi & higher compression, with the supercharger pulley being 1:2 (at 7k rpms the charger is turning twice that).

Simply put the slower the rotors impellers rotate the less pressure you are getting and the less efficent it is. not as much power.Thats why turbos are more effecent at a particular rpm
