What parts will i need to rebuild my 2000 ford mustang rear end?

It's a V6 3.8L. I was told that it needs no gears and needs to be rebuilt. When you push on the rear end of the car it makes a clicking noise. Or when I go over a bump. Will this solve my problem? I also would like to know what parts will be needed and
