My 2004 Chrysler Pacifica wont start with key and will start with remote starter, what happened?

The key use to work but now does not, currently using only remote starter to start car, then put the key in and turn and am all set to go.

If the security light (a small red light on the dash) comes on when you try to start the car with the key, then you probably need to replace the key.
