Toyota Yaris oil reccomendations?
Would like advice from a Toyota engineer on engine oil for a 2004 Yaris, have been told that it should be a fully synthetic oil, however I used to run my Corolla that I have recently traded in on a part synthetic 10/40, it was trouble free all the years
The cap should say 5w30 energy conserving oil is recommended for the Yaris, the users manual should say it too.
As for brand, I've always been using Castrol full synthetic in my cars after the motor break-in process, and used straight 30w
